Has Madhouse actually tried with this show? Besides the OP & ED songs that are always good & the animation style this show has been rather poor for a Madhouse creation! I enjoy the show but it wasn’t worth letting OPM go to continue. ?

Best episode in season 3 so far. Cgi did not bother me at all. It looked fine for me and it did not stop me from enjoying this episode

I'd rather have a season with CG used for unimportant characters (which is only used in scenes when the characters aren't talking) than no season at all. Remember, Overlord isn't really a flagship title for madhouse. We're lucky we even got a 2nd and 3rd season at all, and those seasons were worked on at the same time so they had even less budget per season. I usually don't like CG myself (I dropped Arslan because of cg alone) but I understood that this time it was due to budget constrains, not necessarily cutting corners.
