Just checking: Usually with raw blu-ray releases there is a CERTIFICATE folder that accommodates the BDMV folder. Does the disk simply lack it or is it omitted from this release?

In this version does not come this folder, yes, really most of them, comes this folder.
There's a Spaniard private torrent website which has BDVDs and it's exactly how it sounds. Blu-ray Discs turned into DVD9 discs, the quality obviously suffers but tends to be better than the official DVD. I'm surprised no one has made BDVDs of the DBZ Season Sets yet as there's a crowd of fans who actually like it. Personally, the later OBs are better than the Season Sets but I couldn't stand watching either, the cropping is too noticeable for me (heads, eyes, mouths, etc are cut from the picture). If interested, you can use DVDFab to make BDVDs, I think.

I have everything about DBZ, including all the original, pure DVDs, I even tried to create a version just like Level Sets, but it's a lot of work, maybe one day.
Thanks smfan for uploading these! But already the first disc has 0 seeds, and it has only been 5 days since it was uploaded. The second disc has 1 seed which will probably dissappear soon. I just bought 2 8TB hard drives, and I am finally ready to download these. smfan asked everyone to keep seeding so that he can upload the rest and not to let the torrents die. He has not uploaded any more discs in a couple of days, probably since his torrents are dying so quickly. I'm afraid he will not upload any more discs if his torrents continue to die so quickly. If anyone could seed the first torrent, I will seed it along with all the discs at least until all the discs have been uploaded. 2 other people should do the same as me for each disk so we can be sure to get them all. Don't be greedy or smfan may not feel like uploading the rest of them. He asks in each torrent not to let the torrents die and that he will upload the next one when his previous discs are being seeded. You are not deceiving him by only seeding the previous disc until he uploads the next one. So help him out so he can help us all. smfan, it nobody wants to seed the Disc 1, could you please go back and seed that again until I get it? I will make a comment in the comments for Disc 1 to let the seeder know that I have finished downloading it.
@Prime Some BDMVs don't have the CERTIFICATE folder for US releases. In most cases, it isn't omitted by the ripper - it just doesn't exist. I can vouch for smfan.
smfan, in the comments for Disc 3, Impakt was saying that he prefers ISO instead of the BDMV, and I think you showed some interest in what he said about ISO files. So I have more information. I hope you decide to make ISO's of the other Discs and maybe redo the first 4 Discs in the end. Making an ISO of a Disc is much better than a BDMV because with a BDMV you loose information from the Disc, but an ISO is a copy of a Disc and is a proper way to archive a disc. The BDMV folder is still there in the ISO for anyone who want to access the BDMV folder. I pasted some info below from www.digitalfaq.com which was written about DVD's, but definitely most of it (probably all of it) is true about Blu-rays. When you copy the files off a disc to a hard drive, the file system is lost. When you make a new disc, you must remember to correctly set all the file system attributes such as ISO+UDF 1.02 format, or the DVD or Blu-ray may not play in your DVD player! An ISO file retains the file system information. It is an image file of the disc, both data and formatting. When you burn a new disc from the ISO, nothing needs to be set -- it's automatically extracted from the ISO. Beyond that, some "ripping" methods only look at the visible files in a VIDEO_TS and/or AUDIO_TS folder. Any hidden files/folders, or any non-video ROM data materials, are not read. This means you did not actually copy the disc entirely. Storing as ISO also leaves file gapping to the DVD spec. The gaps are lost when the data is moved to the hard drive file system. Not all burning software (Nero, for example) restores proper 32kb gaps between BUP and IFO files. ImgBurn will properly burn the gapping. This becomes more important on dual-layer discs, when the ISO tool also creates a complementary MDS file. You lose both the gaps AND the layer break by converting the disc data to the computer's file system. The ISO+MDS file retains these bits of super-important information for your Dual Layer disc, and makes burning a DL copy easy.
Oh yeah, those pesky kilobyte files can literally make or break the DVD file structure. And so, I always turn all my DVD backups to ISO.

So guys, I would like to do it differently, but I already got the disks that way, I took from a friend all the disks already ripped, unfortunately I can't do the physical mysteries to do it this way, unfortunately, but at least I have everything backed up on HD and I am doing torrents and backups onedrive to help everyone to have this wonder, what happens is that I will have to create the torrents and after having the necessary seeds I will create backups onedrive for those who arrived later , but I still ask you to help with the seed, as we never know when these onedrive backup links will fall, so help out as much as you can that is a true Dragon Ball Z fan. New links on all added onedrive backup disks, and sorry for the delay, I've been working to create these backups in the last few days, and soon comes the second season on torrent and one-drive backup.
Sorry smfan, I thought you had purchased all the discs, I misunderstood something you wrote in another comment for another disc. What you are uploading is perfectly good. The BDMV folder can still be burned to a Blu-ray disc to play in a Blu-ray player, and it can also be converted to ISO to make it more convenient to play directly from the hard drive. A lot of people on nyaa prefer the BDMV since they are just going to take the audio from it, or convert the video to a smaller size rather than archiving the Blu-ray disc. Thank you for all your hard work making these torrents and onedrive backups available to us. Also whoever decided to seed disc 1 again, Thank you!
thank you very much :D, this is great seeding. Greetings!!!
