Wierd-I was looking in the stream folder of the movie disc and couldn’t find a single large m2ts stream. I found one at 13.3 gigs, one at 13.5 gigs, one at 3.3 gigs and one at 5.1 gigs. I wonder if the movie was split up into several smaller m2ts streams instead of 1 big one? The 3 special discs are edited weird too.

@zrdb indeed it is split up. No idea why though. I find that very weird.

@zrdb Don’t trust Anime Time, They don’t know what they’re doing. Any kid can stuff a video into Handbrake and run it through x264 preset fast and upload to nyaa. That doesn’t make them an encoder worth paying attention to. If you’re going to put 32 GB on this movie, just get the -ZR- or FGT remix. It’s also a single MKV with not extras and remuxes > bad encodes.

I just got finished downloading the torrent I mentioned and basically what they did was join the separate 3 or 4 m2ts parts into one file and add the netflix english subs so it’s identical to the japanese bluray. Nothing was compressed or otherwise fucked with.

Hey so it’s my first time leaving a comment, I was wondering which file should I download ( From 1080p versions)? There are multiple files most of them are quite large for which I am worried about poor encoding and stuffs or should I just wait for little longer for commie or any other “trusted” user/fansub group’s release. Thanks! I’ve been waiting for this for a year and a half hehe.
P.s (Edit): I don’t mind waiting at all, currently doing a re-watch sess [Your Lie In April] So I have a plenty of time to catch up to this :P

Are you trying to add subs to it or make a fansub of your own?
In both cases, you should get the FGT remux, it’s the exact same video stream joined into a single mkv file (that’s what a remux is)

@Light_epk Beatrice raws is encoding it. They are pretty fast, should be done in a few days. Don’t get anything right now if you want an encode. The remux is the only option, all the other encodes are horrible.

@SeaSmoke Ah, I really like Beatrice’s releases so I can wait for that. Yeah the Remux looked a bit promising to me but the size was kind of making me hesitant. Thanks for the information though, appreciate it! :)

You know what they say-“eat shit and die mother fuckers”. As to who “they” are-well, I’ll leave that up to your imagination. And actually it’s not that hard to join m2ts segments together-there are several free programs that will do just that.

Why bother doing that thought, that’s exactly what a remux is and there’s already 2 different remuxes on nyaa. It’s a waste of time doing it yourself when others have done it.

@Trigun, You need VLC and then look in to the Movie/BDMV/Stream/000xxxx.m2ts files, these are normaly playable by VLC. But maybe your hardware is slow and can’t handle this large filesizes that easily. just try it, but you need to search for the main-Movie-M2ts. Best way to find it, is to look for filesize and look look at the biggest files.

thanks I have a program that serves perfectly to subtitle blurays but it is paid I did not find its pirated version, where I usually live these movies and find them pirated and subtitled in the market thanks

@LewdNeko the VLC sucks in bluray sometimes, i recommend power dvd18 or 20 you look all menus extras etc

I despise rar/7z parts. I considered just posting the m2ts files but most people getting bdmvs are doing so for the purpose of completeness and want everything (and therefore should have plenty of space). I am backing up the files non-zipped but unfortunately jdownloader and other downloaders don’t support odrive correctly. I did submit a request for jd and it was finally fulfilled, but it still doesn’t work correctly
