@everyone This one is a reseed made on request from @Impakt. What is the best player for an ISO file? I don't want to have to burn this to a disc to watch it

Android: Kodi (open as video > Kodi) Windows: VLC or mount it and play it on MPC. Edit 1: Thanks for the up. Do you mean this @ https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1257616 ? I can reseed it later if you want, just add yourself to the queue. Edit 2: Why doesn't the menu work? Seems unusual for Discotek to make a DVD without a menu, unless that happened while being distributed online?

vlc doesn't seem to open ISO for me. How do you "mount it"for MPC?

Windows 10: Right Click. Mount. > –Format: VOB (can’t be edited in Aegisub or Subtitle Edit) I am sure Subtitle edit has a OCR function to convert VOB subs.

@tenchi54299 VLC Media Player should open .ISO files, it might be that in your case you have some issue, long path, old version or other possibilities. And you welcome, hope you'll like it ;D @Impakt Alright, I'll add the torrent in Queue, but I would have liked the Amazon WEB-DLs too (those were shared earlier than your DVDs if I remember well) And regarding the menu, I don't know for sure, but it might be due to the one who copied it from disk, since you copy it as DVDMV not .iso, and afterwards you make from the "VIDEO_TS" folder, a disc image ".ISO" (this is where the DVD might get errors) @Glordit Yeah, but I mean you can't edit VOB Subtitles, of course you can OCR them, but that doesn't mean editing, that means copying it in another format which can be edited ;)

The video quality of the Divisa releases are beautiful, though the HD Remaster (which seems to be based on) would be even better. Someone ought to do the trilogy with English subs (translate from Spanish/Portuguese to English if it isn't possible to do from Japanese to English). I do realize this is very much time consuming, but at the end of the day it'd be worth it. If only Discotek had licensed the other two films, than just one.

@Impakt Yeah, but what can we do... There might be somewhere a subtitle in English already, but you'd still have to type everything yourself, so indeed, time consuming. I don't know Spanish, so I can't do much to help you.

Update: I just downloaded this ISO, loaded up on Kodi and the menu works. I was expecting it not to based on that Mugetsu said it wasn't functioning at all. That's pretty cool. It's all there. Always nice to have a Discotek release. Thanks again!

@Impakt I'll keep the torrent on and I'll see is some miracle happen. I already got the remaster of "The Wonderful World of Puss 'n Boots 1969" from U3 so I'm missing only the other 2 (and I have 65.9% of those 2 missing movies, not the entire torrent, which is better)

The second film is a Western and I loved it. I'd definitely watch it again in real HD (the DVD ver. was based on HD masters downgraded). Edit: If/when you complete it, can you re-upload it? It'd get more exposure as that torrent is already tad old and forgotten.

This one actually worked fine for me in VLC... but only to the halfway point, then it went black (though I could skip ahead to make the movie continue). If I mounted it and then used MPC though, it played fine all the way through. And I don't get the comments saying there's no menu. I clearly saw one in both players.

@Jisp Yeah, I also was confused with the no-menu comments since the ISO worked fine for me. And I didn't knew it went black half-way in VLC Media Player, but I'm glad you found a way around to use the chapters. Since you said in MPC-HC works just fine, then I bet it's simply something with the ISO software, not the video/audio material itself (like some corruption).
