[Shen Long] Cutie Honey [2004] [BD-Remux] [Dual Audio]

Notes:

The 2004 Live-action Cutie Honey movie. This remux from the Japanese Blu-Ray
has the English audio added to it from the USA DVD. It looks very sharp and
crisp most of the time, but there are shots where it looks like the camera
wasn’t completely in focus, and a lot of shots where the VFX look much sharper
then the rest of the image. Also, don’t be surprised if you notice things like
small leftovers from a green screen or a leftover string they didn’t remove,
all of which you won’t notice on DVD. This movie makes it very clear it was
made before the HD era. I suspect all of these issues are present on the
original negatives as well, so this is probably the best this movie will ever
look. The Japanese audio sounds great, although it’s nothing special either.
The English audio is a little less, but that is to be expected, with it
originating from DVD. It’s still perfectly watchable, though.

Alltogether a pretty decent transfer for this silly little movie,
but it’s not without it’s flaws.
