Here’s the director’s cut of the first two episodes of Kuuga. Not only it adds a couple of new scenes and dialogue, but it’s also native HD, unlike the TV series. It took me way longer than I expected due to QC hell, but I’m finally happy with the end result.

Same as my last release, it’s the TokuSHOUTsu translation on Bunny Hat’s encode with typesetting mostly by me. For the new stuff, I OCRed the TV-N translation and edited it whenever I felt like there was some room for improvement, but it’s by no means a thorough edit. It also includes two subtitle tracks: one with the Grongi translated and the other without. I did this mostly because the Grongi can spoil some plot points early on and it’s not recommended for a first watch. Additional translations (the Grongi narration and the sings in the very beginning) were done by two friends of mine and are not ideal, if you can do better feel free to contact me.
