English audio seems to be a bit slow by 2-3 frames, needs a delay of -120ms or so.
English audio will never sync perfectly and may look to be slightly off when that is simply how it was recorded. Lips weren't animated for English speaking.
I'm not talking about the dialogue, I'm talking about the entire English audio track. Sound effects are off too. Probably wasn't even LostYear's fault, Funimation been fucking up all over the board lately.
Sorry NH but i have to agree explanation https://i.imgur.com/lroznuC.png (keep in mind the +10 and -80 are the audio offsets from the mkv in this torrent, they may not look like -322 after adding -242 to the eng audio track as when mkv merge can it cuts off parts of the audio where it can without re-encoding it (i checked all delays against the duration changes to check this)) this all assumes the jpn audio is in sync (which looks right if I check at 19:31 the light flashes with the gun make it easy to see)
i think i'm off by 20ms? (did i do the first part right) Yep I made a mistake, it should be that the eng audio needs -222ms (not -242) added to the -80 it has to make a total offset from video of -302 and offset from the jpn audio(+10) of -312 which is what i get when i line the audio waveforms up and when i did that the lips match (for the most part)
Yeah I didn't compare waveforms, -120ms just got it into an acceptable range for me when watching on my TV from about 8ft away.
