I'm having a trouble to comprehend as to what is Viz Media doing with the source material. Manga is over, yet Viz lagging is preposterous. In Japan, first Tankoubon was released February 18, 2005. English Vol. 1 translation was made available in November 21, 2006. Last Japanese issue, Vol. 52 saw the light of day in June 16, 2017. As of right now it is September 13, 2021 and Viz just released Vol. 38. Japanese issue was back in September 18, 2013. Eight (8) years Viz media is lagging behind with English release... EIGHT YERAS! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
By the time Viz completes the series, people who are into this manga will be dead of old age!!
FUCK Viz Media!!!

isnt it usually licensing/legal issues that Viz needs to clear before they release translated manga? its not like there's a bunch of people at Viz rubbing their hands together going "oooh yes, look at all this money we're NOT making by not releasing Hayate in english, we're gonna be so NOT rich"
like obviously there's a reason the delay has been getting longer and longer, but without knowing the whole behind the scenes story, it's a little unfair to blame Viz for the entire mess
@ramirez for the record, I haven't read this manga. Still, Viz is know for it's lengthy delays of numerous Japanese IPs. When this is your ONLY work, someone does not have to be an expert in a specific area to notice when somebody is doing a piss-poor job. Typical, San Francisco horseshit! ┌П┐(►˛◄’!)
