is the manga more conclusive than the anime? I feel like the anime was "good" but it kinda constantly blueballed you the more the story ""progressed""

@ HowUnfortunate ... manga is normally always better than the anime, because anime producers usually jam 3 ch of the manga in to a single 22-23 min ep of anime, so they skip a lot of the story even better than the manga is a light novel series if there is one for a story ...normally those go in to even greater depth than the manga does

I'm more concerned whether the story actually goes anywhere, because the anime is, like 12 eps and some OVAs ? And during that time it went absolutely nowhere
