I can make another batch torrent when there is a decent encode for Part 2. Now, why watch a remux? Well the source for this show doesn't benefit much from filtering and has heavy grain. Encoding this further compresses the grain and can disrupt how dynamic it is (fuck it up). However, the BDMV isn't without its faults either. There are some flashback scenes that have some noticeable banding, so you might want to turn on deband for that. Keep in mind that grain compression is more discernible in motion, and not in a comparison that shows a still image. Regardless, comparisons will be linked down below so you can see some of the differences. **Release Notes:** As for this release, the main difference between other remuxes is that I changed all instances of "Sperd/Sperdia" to "Superd/Superdia" to match the established terms from the other mediums of this show. All of the dub audio was trimmed with eztrim, as there is an issue with mpv that causes freezes and desyncs at the beginning of playback when listening to the container delayed dub. The ED in the dub for ep 18 was also out of sync by nearly half a second, so I did a series of splices to sync it properly. Eztrim utilizes ffmpeg's concatenation protocol, so the audio isn't re-encoded. DGDemux was used to demux the chapters from the BDMV, and as usual, subs were added to the NCs. I have to correct myself, this is the worst torrent on the site. Not only did you use the BDremux by splitting the seed, but you made it worse by changing the terminology. At least you fixed those sync errors so wp for that.
As for this release, the main difference between other remuxes is that I changed all instances of “Sperd/Sperdia” to “Sperg/Spergia” to match the established terms from the other mediums of this show.
please respect Sperg/Spergia pronouns

@Interruptor Are you seriously retarded? Did you not read any of the many reasons why I chose to go with a remux? Also, "changing the terminology," did you happen to not read the rest of the sentence? MTBB is the only person who went with "Sperd." Look any other place, official subs, the LNs, the wiki, even how the dub voice actors pronounce the words, and they all use "Superd."
fansubs would probably not exist if official sources couldn't ever be wrong

I expect everyone to just watch BDremuxes of all old-cel anime, or at least make CRF 6 filtered encodes just to be sure you see all that grain while watching that pedo fucker have sex. Also, don't you notice how bad it sounds? Superd sounds like a retarded way of saying super. Sperd sounds better and rolls off the tongue.

@herkz You're right, however, this is the name of a tribe/person. These are widely established terms already, and I don't see why you would change it and cause further disconnect. It's not the same as just interpreting and translating a sentence differently. I personally know many people who complained about the use of "Sperdia", but I doubt anyone would complain with just using the regular "Superdia". This is not to mention that a couple of MTBB's reason for changing it were just because of how he pronounced it in his head and that phonetically, the Japanese voice actors don't pronounce the "u" sound.
oZanderr, did you seriously just ask if Interruptor is retarded? Everyone knows the answer to that question: YES.

oZanderr (uploader)

User
@Interruptor please remove the spoiler from your comment, this is just dumb.
Who can forget the iconic quote from Ruijerd, "Supears are the soul of the Superd tribe." EDIT: Jokes aside, I think changing it back to Superd is fine, for the reasons I laid out in the fansubbing notes.
I am not taking offenses from Romanians, sorry.
Interruptor try not to sperg for 5 minutes challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
so much effort for such a shitty show
>In Mushoku, we wrote "Sperd" instead of "Superd." There were four main reasons for this. First, when I read "Superd," I always pronounce it "Super-dee" in my head. Second, Ruijerd's full name is Ruijerd Sperdia (and that's how it's spelled in the official script). Third, the author wrote something suggesting that Sperd/Superd was meant to be a play on the word "Spear." Fourth, the voice actors don't really pronounce the "u" sound. I think motbob's reasons are plenty valid. It's not like this is the only time official sources have had dogshit terminology. Fate and Monogatari have both had this issue. Considering the anime is also currently the best way to experience Mushoku (and probably the only version 99% of people are going to experience) the "disconnect" won't be as pronounced.

Superd sounds much better to me. Thanks! It's generally best to ignore people on here who give any sort of criticism, as even if it's constructive they're probably still retarded & not worth the time.
so much effort for a pedo show smh
Please, remake this torrent. Without authentic "superdo" it's literally unwatchable.
In my case I don't mind it either way. I don't watch dubs and I'll just pronounce the same way as the Jap VAs do anyway, independently of subs. The only thing I truly mind is the use of honorifics, hence why I like MTBBs releases and why "jpn:enm" is the priority sub in LAV Splitter for me.

what do you need a github repo for if you're just slapping subs on a bdremux here
thanks! plz seed.. only getting 50kb/s....

@CofeeFlux no reason really, just if people want to see how a Subkt project is setup, want to grab the subs individually, or are curious to see how I trimmed the audio for this.
@halofan Config issue.

Super + d is quite an awful way of spelling Sperd. Not sure why you'd go with a shitty corporate localization's spelling instead of the logical spelling that both reads and pronounces correctly. One spelling sounds like an autistic child is trying to say "super" while the other sounds like a race from a fantasy world. Lessons to learn from this, don't fix what ain't broke! MTBB's subs remain superior.

@BillBoyTM "Super + d" is simply the way that you're pronouncing it in your head. It should read as "su-perd." I literally described in the descriptions and other comments as to why I decided to use this terminology. This series is NOT only an anime. There are many other sources and many people who are already used to the spelling "Superdia" and "Superd". MTBB himself said that it was acceptable to change it back, as it was a hard decision for them to make. Also "both reads and pronounces correctly," I'm really not sure what you mean by this. Are you trying to say that a Japanese voice actor pronouncing a name is supposed to sound the same as how an English person would read it??
Y'all need to go outside and touch reality.
Anyone needs grass?
Tsu-perd (Tsu as in Tsunami). Also Tsu for Japanese makes more sense. V2...

Any chance of an x265 encode version?
> This is not to mention that a couple of MTBB’s reason for changing it were just because of how he pronounced it in his head 1 It was 1 of 4 reasons, just to clear that up. I wasn't sure of which one would be better initially but learning that Ruijerd's full name is Ruijerd Sperdia even in the official translation was more than convincing enough.

oZanderr (uploader)

User
@Gnome Sir you cut off the rest of the sentence. One of the reasons was how he pronounced it and the other was how the Japanese voice actors pronounced it, so that's 2/4. Also the "Ruijerd Sperdia even in the official translation was more than convincing enough," like I mentioned before, "Superdia" and "Superd" is used basically everywhere else outside of MTBB's subs. Referring to my previous comment, "Look any other place, official subs, the LNs, the wiki, even how the dub voice actors pronounce the words, and they all use “Superd.” When I say official subs, I mean subtitle options provided by both CR and Funi, so I'm really not sure which "official translation" you are referencing.
@oZanderr Is this release "Uncencored" ? Thanks for your work

oZanderr (uploader)

User
@andysmith89 yes, the video is straight from the Blu-rays.
superd! edit: Thanks, King! for this release
How about S'perd The apostrophe communicates that it shouldn't be pronounced like English (e.g. "spurred"). It's pretty common in sci-fi/fantasy writing.
Lulu is better because it doesn't have your stupid terminology.
Superd and Sperdia are used in the official subs, so it could go either way. And you chose wrong.

Sperg nation!!! Change them all to Sperg/Spergia!!
Thank you for taking the extra effort to change it to Superd. It would've really annoyed me. I was going to download the other one till I saw this this. I will archive these files in my Google Photos in original quality if it ever dies
