How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Ω / Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω [Season 2]
Source has crazy banding in it. Tried to counter that with some filtering. There is only so much you can do when trying to go mini and also when your filtering skills are on a beginner’s level like mine are. I highly recommend you watching this with a player that supports an additional debanding-filter like mpv.

Patches
Episode 8 received a makeover of a scene with all new dialogue (12:34 - 12:54). The English audio doesn’t have that dialogue so I inserted the Japanese audio into the English track for this part. I got the lines translated with the help of a couple Discord users and created new subtitles for the scene. These will both show in the [Dialogue] as well as the [Signs&Songs] subtitle track.
Included is an xDelta patch and also the raw files if you want to mux them yourself (new subtitles [Dialogue] track and [Signs&Songs] track aswell as the new English audio track)
Either put the Episode 8 file into the patch directory (same name it had when you downloaded it) and use the patch file (3.Apply Patch-Windows.bat for Windows) or mux the files with mkvtoolnix.
Synopsis
Diablo is back! You know…the Demon Lord from another world? Traveling through the woods with Rem and Shera, they encounter a lone girl in tatters, pursued by a powerful Paladin. You know what that means—Diablo will have to try and hide his lack of social skills once again (and come to her rescue, of course). Let the enchanting adventures continue!
Language Options
I included two simple scripts that you can apply to these files to do the following (Windows only):
- Make [Single Audio] Japanese: Throws out English audio and Signs&Songs subtitles tracks
- Make [Single Audio] English: Throws out Japanese audio and Dialogue subtitles tracks
To apply these put all the video files into the Language Options folder and run the .bat file.
Don’t combine them and only use them once together with the base files.

Thanks for reporting. This also affects the dub for said sqeuence. Will put up a patch shortly that inserts the Japanese dub into the English one for that scene and has the subtitles translated and added to both [Dialogue] and [Signs&Songs] subtitle tracks. Check description for the patch.

@neoborn Ya there is no info there, it’s mostly info about the benefits of ordering from the store itself lol. Nothing listed about what version it is. I know there are 3 versions of this though, one is the “Petite” censored version, the second is the “W summon version” less censored, and finally the “Seriously demon king edition” it’s basically a directors cut and is supposed to be completely uncensored with several edits, redraws and restored cut dialog. As to what version each is though there doesn’t seem to be much info, which makes it very confusing. I know Subsplease released the W summon version so I was hoping the bluray would be the seriously demon king edition, but there is no info on that upload to tell us, and thus far it looks the same as the the W summon version but better quality being bluray.

Well there was this one scene in episode 8 that was redone (see comments further up). So the subs that I used weren’t made for that scene and I’m sure [Asakura] used the [SubsPlease] subtitles as a base. This suggests that it’s not exactly the same as the then uploaded version. I didn’t check every single line though. I thought it was crazy that I missed this mistimed subtitle sequence at first. But after investigating I saw the the next scene continues normally just like in the WEB version. So after the mistimed scene, both the subtitles aswell as the English audio track were in sync again. I usually check 2-3 different parts of a video for sync issues as part of my regular quality checking. When the subtitles or audio is out of sync at any of them I know it must have happened between 2 of those checked spots. But since the new scene was exactly as long as the old one, just with different dialogue and images, I missed that.
Long story short, it can’t exactly be the same as the [SubsPlease] upload because of that scene in episode 8 and potentially more other such scenes I could have missed that nobody reported on yet, which I’m hoping is not the case. Which would then mean no more changes though, not in dialogue anyway. Could still be certain redrawn character parts, who knows.

Hmm, maybe this is the directors cut version after all then? If so it’s too bad they kept some censorship in it. Anyway thanks for uploading the bluray for us, looking forward to a V2 patch for the timing.

I should just not dabble in these questionable horny isekai anime so I can avoid this whole censored/uncensored thing. If I knew this was such a naughty show I wouldn’t have bothered anyway. I’m not really part of the cultured anime fanbase and like more wholesome slice of life shows. Guess my anime-research leaves much to be desired.

Censorship affects more than just us “cultured” people though. As someone who has also become a fan of slice of life show myself, (ecchi or not) imagine if they decided to cut some jokes from say Nichijou because people on twitter got butt hut over it, or even worse they westernized it because they thought we wouldn’t get Japanese humor. Imagine if they cut the dear v principle scene because someone complained it promoted hurting animals? Censorship is always bad.
You uploading these for us is always appreciated however, censored or not. :) SO you should totally dabble in questionable horny isekai. Before you even realize it happening, you will be a cultured individual as well lol.
