Thank you. This is the best series this season. Hope they won't replay part of the last episode like the beginning of ep 8, wasted full 5 minutes on that BS.
Not sure why the huge HEVC encodes for this series. Yeah they are smaller than streamer copies but 600 MB is like... high-quality BD-rip size. Not streaming rip. Not as much need to preserve grain or other such. Nobody niggles over quality details/retention unless it's a BD rip. If they do they are losers that you shouldn't listen to.
In any case, I originally came here to report that this episode crashes ALL players on Apple TV 4k 2022 (most recent hardware version) on tvOS 17.2 - because the hardware has HEVC decode, all players default to using it (this cannot be prevented due to how tvOS mandates certain things). The crash is at 9:40 or just after. It COULD be a rendering issue with libass - which is of course handled in the playback software and not tvOS. Infuse Pro (my preferred player), Plex, and VLC all crashed for me.
